Principal’s Blog 23rd June – Challenging Times

Challenging Times The news is full of stories that challenge our student’s resilience, understanding and sense of where they are in the world. Principal's Welcome

ZTN photo Nelson
Welcome to the Hazeley Academy The Hazeley Academy opened its doors to a small cohort of students in 2005 and is now an established successful Secondary school and Sixth Form with over 1500 students aged 11-18. We are proud of the consistently excellent examination results achieved at Hazeley and work hard to ensure students also gain the personal qualities of Character, Confidence and Creativity needed to make a success in adult life. We measure this success not only on academic results but on what Hazeley students go on to achieve after leaving the academy.

Students must be on site by 8.35am, giving 5 minutes for movement time from their lockers to their form room. With this in mind, our gates are closed at 8.35am and students arriving after this time should enter via the main entrance to the Academy.  Students are expected to be in their tutor rooms, by 8.40am, each morning, when a bell will sound, after this, students are marked as  late. Students entering the Academy after 8.35am via the main entrance will be marked late and will receive a detention after school for 30 minutes the next school day.
