World Mental Health Day 10th October 2018

World Mental Health Day 10 October 2018

Mental health problems can affect anyone at any time but on 10 October the Hazeley Academy had a great day to showcase our Mental Health Ambassadors and support better mental health for everyone.

World Mental Health Day was first celebrated in 1992 as an initiative of the World Federation for Mental Health, a global organisation with members in over 150 countries. The aim of the day is to raise awareness and advocacy against social stigma.

At Hazeley, our young people held a stall in the foyer during the day with a suggestion box for all students and staff to put in ideas to improve wellbeing and a mental health survey to find out what issues are affecting our community.

With many thanks to everyone who took part!
