£8.75 per hour

 12:4014:10 Monday to Friday, Term-time only

A vacancy has arisen for a Lunchtime Supervisor to join our fantastic team.   We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic person to support the smooth, efficient and safe running of the school by providing supervision for all the pupils on school premises during lunch breaks.

Experience of working within a school environment is desirable however not essential for the role.

37 hours per week, term time plus 2 weeks

Grade MK5 – MK6 (depending on experience/qualifications)

£17,426 – £24,516 (actual salary)

The Hazeley Academy is a highly ambitious school and we are looking for an enthusiastic and approachable individual who is committed to supporting and nurturing independent learning in our 6th form students.  The successful candidate will take on the management and supervision of the 6th form Q-Zone and by developing positive working relationships with students will ensure they are working diligently and purposefully either independently or through 1:1 support.  They will be responsible for leading the UCAS process through effective procedures and systems in order to support students in their applications to university as well as those applying for alternative career development.  This may include supporting the work experience alongside other responsibilities required by the Assistant Principal (Sixth Form).

As part of an extended Sixth Form team, you will support the leadership team and work closely with a group of tutors in order to maximise the progress and achievements of the Sixth Form students.

Careers Education, Advice and Guidance Advisor working across the Trust. You will provide information, advice and guidance to help students make choices about their education, training and work opportunities. You’ll help identify career options, build CVs, identify skills gaps, advise on where to search for jobs, help with application processes and locate relevant training courses. The ideal candidate will have a level 6 CEIAG qualification or be willing to work towards the qualification. As a member of our Work Related Learning team, the appointed person will be based at Shenley Brook End School for 3.5 days a week and will support The Hazeley Academy and joint projects in the remaining time.
• Hours: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus training days).
• Salary: Grade 5, £19,446 to £23,111 per annum, pro rata £16,566-£19,688.
