Hazeley 6th Form Students Achieve Record Results
On Sunday 5th July 2015 the Year 13 Hazeley students on the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme received their results. For the first time ever 100% of the students secured the exceptionally challenging full Diploma.
Jeremy Burey-Abraham achieved the Academy’s highest ever score of 42 points, which is the equivalent of over four A* grades at A-Level. However Jeremy was not alone in gaining exceptional outcomes as Leyla Al-Ashaab, Laura Kirby, Lydia Oyeniran, Rhian Reid and Amber Yeoman also gained the equivalent of over three A* grades at A-Level.
“It has been a pleasure to work so closely with these students over the past two years; their success has very much been down to them embracing the Hazeley Way of working hard and supporting each other. I am looking forward to working with them further over the next few weeks to ensure that they are all secure in the next steps of their journey “
Mrs Mayles – IBDP – Coordinator
“It is a privilege to see these young people progress start to the next stage in their careers, not only as highly qualified but also exceptionally well rounded individuals full of Character, Confidence and Creativity”
Mr Nelson – Principal
