Sixth Form Admissions
SIXTH FORM ADMISSIONS FOR SEPTEMBER 2017
If you would like to apply to the Sixth Form at The Hazeley Academy, please complete an application form, a copy of which will be available shortly. Hazeley students must ask their relevant teachers to approve their subject choices.
Your application must be received by 27th January 2017. Receipt of your application will be acknowledgement by email.
Applicants who meet the application deadline may be invited for a progress review meeting. Interviews will take place for The Hazeley students before the February half term and for external applications before the Easter break. The progress review meeting is a key part of the application process for all students as it is an opportunity for us to discuss your subject interests and future plans to ensure that you have chosen courses that are right for you.
Following your progress review meeting, many students will receive a conditional offer based on you achieving the published grades for your chosen subjects. If you would like to accept this conditional place, you will need to do so by returning the acceptance form.
All students in receipt of a conditional offer are expected to attend the sixth form induction. You will have the opportunity to attend taster lessons in each of your chosen subjects and to get an idea of what it is like to be a sixth form student at The Hazeley Academy.
Student enrolment will take place on GCSE results day. If you do not achieve the GCSE grades you expected, please discuss your options with a member of the sixth form team. For further enquiries about admissions or particular courses, please contact the sixth form team at: email@example.com.
All applications are considered on merit and students are welcomed irrespective of their gender, sexuality, disability, race or religion. A copy of our Admission Policy can be found by clicking here.

At The Hazeley Sixth Form students are offered a wide range of A-Level and BTEC courses. The curriculum is reviewed each year to ensure that we explore new initiatives and make decisions which reflect the needs of our students to prepare them most effectively for higher education and employment.
